This version of the Amtac Blades Northman Non-Serrated is made from Magnacut steel. Magnacut steel is significantly tougher than M390, is slightly better at corrosion resistance and only sacrifices a small amount of edge retention as compared to M390.
The blade is 5/32 of an inch thick. The handle has no jimping. The handle material is opal with purple liners G10, and the blade is blackened stonewashed.
