The MagnaCut Magnus is a full-sized combative fixed blade knife specifically designed to be worn on your belt, other strong side. This blade has been optimized to provide the correct balance between tip strength and thrusting ability (myself and friends that have been involved in the testing have stabbed the prototype of this blade through a lot of different test media). To make the blade more versatile, we kept the spine of the blade sharp so that you can strike the ferro rod with the spine of the blade instead of the edge.
We are always striving to make our blades better, and after receiving feedback from some of the best blade guys in the industry, we decided to roll out the Upgraded Magnus. The Upgraded Magnus features a 5-inch flat ground blade with a swedge starting 1.5 inches from the handle. This blade geometry allows for great thrusting ability and strength. Doing this grind also shaved .5 ounces off of the blade and gives it a much faster feel in hand. The 1.5 inches of spine directly forward of the handle has a semi-sharp 90° angle to facilitate better striking of a ferro rod and other backcountry tasks. The handle of the Upgraded Magnus is 3 3/4 inches long. The blade is designed for belt carry.

The FO3 Holster (forward of 3 o’clock)

This holster will fit the Walther PDP full size, compact or F-series with either a 4″ or 4.5″ slide length of your choosing from the options below.
Please also note that a Walther pistol with a shorter length slide will fit in a larger holster.
In combatives, and specifically pistol combatives, one of the most important elements to master is the transition. Transitions range from punching to pistol, punching to blade, impact weapon to pistol etc. Most strong side holsters are designed to be carried around the four or four thirty position which can be a very comfortable way to carry. Although this may be comfortable, my preference is to carry a little further forward around the waist. The FO3 holster is designed to be worn just forward of 3 o’clock on your strong side. Instead of wings extending off both sides of the holster, the front clip on the FO3 is hard mounted to the KYDEX® body. There is a modified wing which extends from the rear of the holster providing flexibility. This reduces the footprint of the holster allowing it to be carried forward of 3 o’clock while the leather piece allows the holster to move with you as you move, maximizing comfort. I have found this to be the best compromise between speed of draw and weapon security. This allows me to carry comfortably, deploy the pistol quickly, and safely anchor the pistol during a gun grab. If needed, I still have the ability to pivot my hips in order to create the space needed to produce my firearm in close quarters. This holster is the result of countless hours of training and collaboration with the BlackPoint Tactical team.

This version of the Amtac Blades Northman Non-Serrated is made from Magnacut steel. Magnacut steel is significantly tougher than M390, is slightly better at corrosion resistance, and only sacrifices a small amount of edge retention as compared to M390.
The blade is 3/16 of an inch thick, which is thicker than our standard Northman Blades. The handle has no jimping. The handle material is stabilized koa wood and the blade is black stonewashed.
The Amtac Blades Northman is a small fixed-blade knife designed to replace the cutting tool carried in your pocket. Quickly deployable and rugged enough for backcountry use, this blade is also great for combatives.
The blade, trainer, and sheath of your choice is included.

Magnacut steel is significantly tougher than M390, is slightly better at corrosion resistance and only sacrifices a small amount of edge retention as compared to M390. The Northman comes standard with a pocket sheath, an aluminum training blade, and a storage sheath. The handle is made from G10 and the blade as a blackened stonewashed finish.

**Amtac Blades Magnacut NorthmanF
This folder was designed for those situations where you can’t carry a fixed-blade knife.
Although in most situations fixed blade knives are to be preferred over folders, there may be times where a folder is needed. It is for those times we created the NorthmanF. Like our other blades, the NorthmanF was designed with combatives and backcountry in mind with edge geometry optimized for thrusting and with a toughness to handle backcountry chore. This new version of our folder features a 3/16 in thick MagnaCut blade for even more durability and corrosion resistance.

The Stonewashed Minuteman II with full flat grind uses Magnacut steel which is significantly tougher than M390, is slightly better at corrosion resistance, and only sacrifices a small amount of edge retention as compared to M390. The Minuteman II is slightly narrower than our regular Minuteman blade, the width is decreased by 1/8th of an inch.
