    The Amtac Blades Recce Axe is designed from the ground up as a fighting axe. The Recce Axe is inspired by a Danish style of axe, which has a top point that allows for forward thrusting and a bottom point that allows for hooking.

    This product is the trainer to match the Recce Axe.

    Axe and trainer sets come serialized. If you purchase an unserialized trainer only and, in the future, purchase an axe, we will retro engrave the trainer with the matching serial number of the axe.

    This version includes marking on the spine and axe head.

    If you buy Recce Axe and Recce Axe Trainer, you will receive a discount of $50 refunded to your card.

    The LOT (logical order of thought) behind the Recce Axe was to have an axe that performed very similarly to our Battle Axes, but was more carryable.

    The axe and minimal sheath are included.

    If you run out of gunpowder or go someplace where you cannot have firearms, and you had to fight, the Recce Axe is what you want.

    These Recce axes will be stonewashed with black handles. This version includes marking on the spine and axe head.

    If you buy Recce Axe and Recce Axe Trainer, you will receive a discount of $50 refunded to your card.

    Northman MagnaCut Stonewashed (Sterile)

    This version of the Amtac Blades Northman Sterile Serrated is made from Magnacut. Magnacut steel is significantly tougher than M390, is slightly better at corrosion resistance, and only sacrifices a small amount of edge retention as compared to M390. The Northman comes standard with a pocket sheath, an aluminum training blade, and a storage sheath. The handle is made from G10, and the blade as a blackened stonewashed finish.
    The blade, pocket firesheath, trainer, and storage sheath are included.

This blade geometry allows for great thrusting ability and strength. The 1.5 inches of spine directly forward of the handle has a semi-sharp 90° angle to facilitate better striking of a ferro rod and other backcountry tasks. The handle of the MagnaCut NorthmanX is 3 3/4 inches long. The MagnaCut NorthmanX blade is designed primarily for pocket carry and comes standard with a pocket firesheath. However, the MagnaCut NorthmanX will perform better than the MagnaCut Northman when carried in a belt sheath due to the larger handle size. There will be belt firesheaths available as a separate purchase.

    Please be aware that due to the slight differences in blade geometry between the MagnaCut Northman and the MagnaCut NorthmanX, the sheaths for the MagnaCut Northman are not compatible with the MagnaCut NorthmanX.

    This folder was designed for those situations where you can’t carry a fixed-blade knife.

    Although in most situations fixed blade knives are to be preferred over folders, there may be times where a folder is needed. It is for those times we created the NorthmanF. Like our other blades, the NorthmanF was designed with combatives and backcountry in mind with edge geometry optimized for thrusting and with a toughness to handle backcountry chore. This new version of our folder features a 3/16 in thick MagnaCut blade for even more durability and corrosion resistance.

The Minuteman II is slightly narrower than our regular Minuteman blade, the width is decreased by 1/8th of an inch.
    The Stonewashed Magnacut Minuteman II features a 4-inch full flat ground blade with a swedge. This blade geometry allows for great thrusting ability and strength. The 1.3 inches of spine directly forward of the handle has a semi-sharp 90° angle to facilitate better striking of a ferro rod and other backcountry tasks. The handle of the Minuteman is 3 3/4 inches long. The Stonewashed Minuteman II with full flat grind comes standard with a low profile belt sheath, aluminum training blade, and storage sheath.
