The Amtac Blades MagnaCut NorthmanX is a small fixed blade knife designed to replace the cutting tool carried in your pocket. Quickly deployable and rugged enough for backcountry use, this blade is also great for combatives. It has the same length blade as the Northman, but a larger handle.

The blade, pocket firesheath, trainer, and storage sheath are included.

The newest blade in the Amtac Blades lineup features a 3.5-inch flat ground blade with a swedge starting 1.5 inches from the handle. This blade geometry allows for great thrusting ability and strength. The 1.5 inches of spine directly forward of the handle has a semi-sharp 90° angle to facilitate better striking of a ferro rod and other backcountry tasks. The handle of the MagnaCut NorthmanX is 3 3/4 inches long. The MagnaCut NorthmanX blade is designed primarily for pocket carry and comes standard with a pocket firesheath. However, the MagnaCut NorthmanX will perform better than the MagnaCut Northman when carried in a belt sheath due to the larger handle size. There will be belt firesheaths available as a separate purchase.

Please be aware that due to the slight differences in blade geometry between the MagnaCut Northman and the MagnaCut NorthmanX, the sheaths for the MagnaCut Northman are not compatible with the MagnaCut NorthmanX.

The Sterile blades will have no markings or engravings whatsoever on the blade or on the sheaths. But every other aspect and characteristic of the blade is identical to the standard one with markings.
